About Your Instructor

Denise Montgomery is the President/Owner of Mais Oui! Redesign, LLC and is the principal trainer for Mais Oui! RedesignU. Denise successfully staged and sold two of her own homes to the first buyers through the door for almost full asking price before she even heard the term “staging”! This experience led her to research the
staging industry and in the process she discovered interior redesign and knew she had found her new
career direction!

Denise completed her Redesign and Staging training through Redesigning Interiors in Chicago. She also completed the ASP course through Staged Homes.

Denise opened her redesign and staging business in 2004 in Louisville, KY. She successfully transitioned Mais Oui! Redesign to Auburn, Alabama in 2005 and recently relocated it again to Greenville, North Carolina. Having faced  to move due to her husband’s engineering management career, she can attest that this can be a “portable” career. Her experience re-establishing her business in different markets has fine-tuned her marketing and networking expertise, which she happily shares with her students.

Realizing her love of teaching and natural ability to coach others to reach their goals, Denise completed Train-the-Train courses in Redesign and Staging offered by her mentors, Jane Douglas and Kris Porter of Redesigning Interiors. This led to her approval as an SDP Certified Trainer. Denise is a Charter member of The Society of Decorating Professionals and is nationally certified in both Redesign and Home Staging. In August 2006, Denise served as the moderator on a panel of home staging experts at TheSDP’s National Conference in Erie, PA.

Denise’s talents and expertise have been showcased in East Alabama Living, Flair and Southern Views magazines as well as Central Alabama Business Journal.

Denise brings her innate creative ability to make the full potential of a house shine, her past experience as a real estate agent and her diverse training in staging and redesign to her presentation of her seminars.
