Denise Montgomery

Denise Montgomery is the President/Owner of Mais Oui! Redesign, LLC and is the principal trainer for Mais Oui! RedesignU. Denise successfully staged and sold two of her own homes to the first buyers through the door for almost full asking price before she even heard the term “staging”! This experience led her to research the staging industry and in the process she discovered interior redesign and knew she had found her new career direction!

Denise completed her redesign and staging training in February 2004 and opened her business in 2004 in Louisville, KY. She successfully transitioned Mais Oui! Redesign to Auburn, Alabama in 2005 and again to Greenville, North Carolina in 2007.  She can attest that this can be a “portable” career since she’s had to relocate so often due to her husband Mark’s engineering career. Her experience re-establishing her business in different markets has fine-tuned her marketing and networking expertise, which she happily shares with her students.

Realizing her love of teaching and natural ability to coach others to reach their goals, Denise became an SDP Certified Trainer.  A Charter member of The Society of Decorating Professionals, she is nationally certified in Redesign, Home Staging and Color.  In October 2008, she became the Director of Operations for The SDP — a role which allows her to help other SDP trainers and members develop and build their decorating businesses.

Denise’s talents and expertise have been showcased in East Alabama Living, Flair and Southern Views magazines as well as Central Alabama Business Journal.  Her speaking engagements include presenting SDP webinars and SDP Annual Conference breakout sessions.

Denise brings her innate creative ability to make the full potential of a house shine, her past experience as a real estate agent and her diverse training in staging and redesign to her presentation of her seminars.
